Christmas Village Backgrounds became a priority while Pebbie was setting up her own display. She discovered these were needed to add dimension and overall visual effect. Having an art background and a passion for Christmas, Pebbie went to work painting the artwork. She has now created four series, the village scenes, the country scenes, the Halloween scenes, and the North Pole scenes, with additional artwork planned for the future.

As an artist, Pebbie works in oils, acrylics, and mosaics. She also teaches in her studio as well as several times a year at the John C. Campbell Folk School in Brasstown, NC. Her artwork is on display in several galleries in North Carolina, Georgia, and Florida.

Pebbie is a graduate of the Ringling School of Art in Sarasota, Florida. She is married with two daughters and four grandchildren, which add new and awesome dimension to her life.
